Balwant Jain is a seasoned IT professional with a wealth of experience in IT Consulting, Project Management, Software Development and Sales working with leading global organizations in the Asia Pacific.
As the founder of Optimum, Balwant has been instrumental in nurturing the company from a small start-up to becoming one of the leading IT companies in Singapore, with an Asia-Pacific presence. In his role as the CEO Balwant, actively guides the vision, mission and the overall strategic direction of the company.Balwant is an engineering graduate from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi and holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad.
Balwant is a strong advocate for Corporate Social Responsibility and has been supporting the cause of providing education to the less privileged through Optimum’s partnership with SINDA (Singapore Indian Development Association).
Vinod Martin is the Chief Operating Officer responsible for Operations, Strategic Planning and Project Delivery. Vinod is an IT industry veteran who brings more than twenty nine years of rich and diverse experience that spans IT Consulting, Software Development, Project Management, Business Development, Key Account Management and Project Delivery across the Asia Pacific. Before Optimum, Vinod worked with Hughes Software Systems as Regional Manager for Asia Pacific and NIIT.
Vinod is an Engineering graduate and a Management graduate from XLRI, Jamshedpur, India.
Sumit heads Business Development at Optimum. He leads the acquisition, development, and retention of Key Accounts globally.
As part of the leadership team, Sumit actively shapes Optimum’s business, marketing, and communication strategy. Sumit also maintains oversight of the ongoing delivery of results.
Sumit brings more than 24 years of IT marketing and business development experience. Before joining Optimum, he has held several leadership roles in IT companies in the Asia Pacific spanning consulting, delivery and sales.
Sumit is a Business School graduate from CBS with a Post-Graduation specialization in Marketing & International Marketing.
Saravanan have been with Optimum for more than 26 years and currently heads Account Management for Optimum’s key FSI clients. Previously he was the Head of Talent Acquisition.
A leading tech-professional, Saravanan brings in-depth industry experience that spans Technology Talent Management, Business Development, Account Management and Service Delivery across the Asia. Saravanan has played a key role in making Optimum the partner of choice for many important clients of Optimum. Previously as Talent Acquisition Head, he was responsible for entire talent acquisition function and was key in setting up large teams for various clients in the Financial Services industry in a timely cost-effective way.
Saravanan graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from Coimbatore Institute of Technology in 1995 before completing his Master in Engineering from PSG College of Technology in 1997. He is extremely enthusiastic about his fitness and loves travelling, playing golf, football and cycling.
Nanda has over 24 years of consulting experience in the fields of IT Operations, ERP design & implementation, and business process excellence.
He is a seasoned professional with knowledge of the healthcare, aviation, e-commerce, field services, and electronics industries. In General Electric, he held the positions of head of the ERP practice transformation and leader of process excellence.
He actively invests in the AI tech sector as well. Nanda is in charge of Optimum’s day-to-day operations in India and making sure that the company’s technology services are provided to customers properly and efficiently.
