Providing support for SAP BW and integrated modules by troubleshooting and resolving issues and change requests within targeted SLA, including urgent issues during month-end closing with quality.
Manage customer challenges and escalations in a proactive and structured manner.
Act as a point of contact to analyze and fix application issues, ensuring SAP services are available and reliable to meet business expectations.
Work closely with different teams (e.g., Basis, ABAP, other modules, SAP support, or third-party vendors) to ensure issues and requests are addressed in a timely manner.
Discuss with business users to gather change request requirements and prepare functional specifications, including necessary reviews with business stakeholders.
Carry out Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, and related documentation.
Support users in carrying out User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Provide training to users whenever necessary.
Prepare internal presentations and proposals when required.
Fully comply with and adhere to all standard AMS processes and procedures.
Support project assignments when necessary and contribute to overall project objectives and team deliverables.
Please highlight availability to work in the USA time zone with rotational shifts (4:00 PM to 1:00 AM) and (8:30 PM to 4:00 AM).
Experience:
Well-versed in ABAP and AMDP for transformation routines.
Extensive knowledge of data modeling, particularly based on BW/4HANA concepts.
Strong knowledge of CDS Views, LO Cockpit (2LIS*), and standard ODP data sources.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA finance-related modules.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree or above in a related field.
5+ years of work experience in Application Maintenance Services (AMS).
Minimum of 3 years of experience with SAP BW/4HANA (version 2.0 or earlier).
Relevant SAP certifications are a plus.
Fluency in English (both verbal and written).
Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent analytical and presentation skills.
Strong documentation skills with proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Deep understanding of business processes and strong technical knowledge of financial modules.
