SAP ABAP Developer

Job Description

• Interface programming using BAPIs and RFC development.
• Develop backend web services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and OData.
• Experience in reporting, ALV reporting, dialog transactions, enhancements, SAP Script, Smart Forms, User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs, RFC, Web Dynpro, ALE, EDI, IDOCs, CDS Views, AMDPs, and SAP Fiori.

Experience

• Strong programming experience in reporting, ALV reporting, dialog transactions, Data Dictionary Objects, enhancements, SAP Script, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, User Exits, BADIs, VOFM routines, Output Types, BAPIs, RFC, Web Dynpro, ALE, EDI, IDOCs, CDS Views, AMDPs, and SAP Fiori.
• Experience developing in SAP using ABAP/4 and/or HANA with HANA Studio, Web IDE, or Eclipse.
• Experience with enterprise data integration and migration technologies including ETL, SQL, XSLT, and XML.
• Hands-on experience integrating SAP modules such as FI, SD, MM, QM, PM, PP, LE, APO, and CO.
• Working knowledge of security standards including SAML, XACML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and WS-Trust.
• Experience with programming and scripting languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• Experience working on SAP implementation projects.
• Experience using Agile methodologies and ticketing tools such as Zendesk and Jira.

Qualification

• Minimum 6 years of experience in SAP ABAP design and development.
• University degree required, preferably in business, engineering, or information technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• ABAP or other SAP Developer certifications are an advantage.
• Configuration or consulting experience in SAP modules such as FI, SD, MM, QM, PM, PP, LE, APO, or CO is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build repeatable development processes with proper documentation.
• Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across diverse technical teams.
• Deep knowledge of ERP systems across industries.
• Understanding of business processes in high-tech, manufacturing, and trade industries.
• Strong understanding of SAP ABAP development concepts, guidelines, and SAP architecture.
