Job Description

• Translate and edit a variety of Meta content, including user interface and long-form text.
• Perform testing of the translated products to identify linguistic and functional issues.
• Perform terminology and style guide updates.
• Provide linguistic and cultural expertise in various localization projects.
• Provide linguistic support and guidance to vendor translation teams.

Skills

• 100% native fluency in Bengali/Urdu respectively and near-native fluency in English.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in translation from English to Bengali/Urdu & vice versa .
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Familiarity with relevant culture and trends.

Qualifications

• Degree in Translation Studies, Linguistics, Communications or similar is desirable.
• Experience in the social media and mobile space is a plus.
• Familiarity with computer aided translation tools is desirable.
• Career gap of up to 1 year may be considered.
• Recent freelancing experience may also be taken into consideration.
