Requirement:

Please find below the updated job description for the Azure Cloud Engineer offshore assignment. The role is initially for 1 month, focused on setting up our Azure environment, including VNet, APIM, Azure Functions, and hybrid connectivity with on-premises systems.

We’ve also included the following additional expectations:

Terraform or Infrastructure-as-Code experience will be a strong plus.
If the resource has good coding skills in any programming language and is familiar with Azure-based integration development, we may consider extending the engagement beyond the initial duration.

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer for a short-term assignment to support the initial setup of our Azure environment. The engineer will be responsible for:

Setting up Azure Virtual Network (VNet) with appropriate subnets, NSGs, and routing.
Establishing secure connectivity with on-premises systems (e.g., via VPN Gateway or ExpressRoute).
Deploying and configuring Azure API Management (APIM), Azure Functions, Key Vault, and Analytics services.
Ensuring alignment with security standards, governance policies, and best practices.

Skills Required:

Proven expertise in Azure networking and hybrid connectivity.
Hands-on experience with APIM, Azure Functions, Key Vault, and Azure Analytics.
Strong understanding of Azure RBAC, security best practices, and infrastructure setup.

Additional Info:

Initial duration is 1 month, with possible extension based on work complexity and ongoing needs.
Vendor to allocate a dedicated offshore resource.
Immediate start preferred.
