Requirement:
Please find below the updated job description for the Azure Cloud Engineer offshore assignment. The role is initially for 1 month, focused on setting up our Azure environment, including VNet, APIM, Azure Functions, and hybrid connectivity with on-premises systems.
We’ve also included the following additional expectations:
- Terraform or Infrastructure-as-Code experience will be a strong plus.
- If the resource has good coding skills in any programming language and is familiar with Azure-based integration development, we may consider extending the engagement beyond the initial duration.
We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer for a short-term assignment to support the initial setup of our Azure environment. The engineer will be responsible for:
- Setting up Azure Virtual Network (VNet) with appropriate subnets, NSGs, and routing.
- Establishing secure connectivity with on-premises systems (e.g., via VPN Gateway or ExpressRoute).
- Deploying and configuring Azure API Management (APIM), Azure Functions, Key Vault, and Analytics services.
- Ensuring alignment with security standards, governance policies, and best practices.
Skills Required:
- Proven expertise in Azure networking and hybrid connectivity.
- Hands-on experience with APIM, Azure Functions, Key Vault, and Azure Analytics.
- Strong understanding of Azure RBAC, security best practices, and infrastructure setup.
Additional Info:
- Initial duration is 1 month, with possible extension based on work complexity and ongoing needs.
- Vendor to allocate a dedicated offshore resource.
- Immediate start preferred.
