Cloud Engineer

Job Description

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, security).
• Collaborate with application and security teams to resolve complex cloud-related issues.
• Monitor performance, availability, and security of cloud services and proactively address risks.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, optimization, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
• Implement cloud security controls and compliance best practices.
• Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and cloud architecture standards.
• Participate in planning, deployment, and optimization of cloud-based solutions.
• Stay updated with cloud technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure (GCP exposure preferred).
• Expertise in deploying and managing IaaS & PaaS services across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, Ansible.
• Knowledge of cloud-native networking and infrastructure components.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash (preferred).
• Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
• Hands-on experience managing enterprise cloud environments.
• Experience implementing IaC and automation workflows.
• Exposure to multi-cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
