Technical Skill Set

• Key Skills: Data Governance, AWS, Data Management, Data Products, Data Quality, Metadata, Data Architecture + SQL, Data strategy, Engineering Practices (This are the topics will be cover on R1 interview), if the candidate’s background from BFSI or core banking it is an advantage).
• Specified that candidates must have hands-on experience with SQL, AWS data services, Python, Spark ETL, and AI-powered engineering tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio Code, as well as familiarity with cloud architecture and CICD processes.
• Data Governance Expertise: Highlighted the importance of data governance, including data lineage, metadata management, and data management implementation methodology, noting that prior experience in these areas is highly advantageous.
• Stakeholder Management: Explained that strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership are required, as the role involves manoeuvring data products across different crews or domains within the bank.
• Techno-Functional Role: HM emphasized that the role is not purely functional but requires a blend of technical and functional expertise, particularly in data engineering and product management.
